took off and my arms straightened out as they broke my grip. In the end all turned out
well – the coyote was caught.
Another time I was driving the pickup with Uncle Charlie riding shotgun. We were
trying to get ahead of a coyote to release the dogs. We had just made a turn to go up a
hill. Uncle Charlie said to me, "Hurry up!" I replied, "I have the gas pedal floor-boarded!"
He said, "I don't care, get going!" We did make the catch that day.
