November 2019 • Nebraskaland 23 ▼ This is the first cat photographed with the camera trap system, thanks to a tip of her location from Game and Parks wildlife staff in March 2015. My hair may have stood on end when I returned to the site and pulled up the images for viewing. From the timestamp on the digital photos, I learned that she returned about 45 minutes after I got the camera set up and left the scene. Thankfully for me, mountain lions typically keep their distance from people.
