RAW mode, using a lens with a large
focal length, and planning your shot

wildfl owers at Gjerloff Prairie
Throughout the month | 4 miles west of Marquette on M Road
One place botanist Gerry Steinauer enjoys taking wildfl ower photos is the
390-acre Gjerloff Prairie west of Marquette. "It's got really great spring
wildfl owers," he said. Park by the barn-like education center to fi nd the
5-mile mowed trail loop. Expect rolling hills, some steep slopes and a great

Hike at Indian Cave
State Park

Hikers of all skill levels can fi nd something
to enjoy at Indian Cave State Park. You'll fi nd
more than 20 miles of trails featuring scenic
oak woodlands and views of the Missouri
