The outdoors is calling. It's time to plan an outdoor adventure: grab a rod and reel,
get your bird feeder ready, and start visiting Nebraska state park areas for the
Your Parks Adventure Challenge, beginning May 22 (details at
YourNebraskaParks100.org).
N
Fish for crappie
Throughout the month | Statewide
In May, crappie stay shallow as they
spawn, making them a more accessible
catch. Only simple gear is needed: a
bobber and minnow is hard to beat, but if
live baitfi sh aren't allowed, a bobber and
small jig will work just as well.
