What To Do in August-September
Tag migrating monarch
butterfl ies
Late August through early October | Statewide
Help scientists uncover the mysteries behind the monarch
butterfl y's epic migration, and tag monarchs as they migrate
through Nebraska this fall. Tagging takes just a minute or
two — netting the butterfl y, recording data, applying a small
adhesive tag to the monarch's wings, and releasing it. Learn
more at MonarchWatch.org/tagging.
