What To Do in January and February
Stargazing
Moonless nights for best viewing
Statewide
Some of the most transparent and
crystal-clear starry skies can be seen
this time of year, off ering a spectacular
view for those willing to brave the
winter chill. Nebraska's state parks off er
some of the darkest skies on the planet,
making them great places for stargazing.
Dress warm, bring a friend, get a star
map and learn your constellations.
