Throughout the month | Kearney
Sandy Channel off ers a series of sandpit
lakes with a variety of fi shing opportunities,
including bluegill, crappie, channel catfi sh,
largemouth bass and even some muskies
and walleyes in Pit #8. The area also
received a boost with recent angler access
improvements. During the day, target panfi sh,
crappies and bluegills using a variety of small
jigs, focusing on shaded areas, weed beds and
fallen trees.
