What To Do in December
Squirrel hunting
Through Jan. 31 | Statewide
Winter can be one of the most
fun and rewarding times to hunt
Nebraska's fox squirrels. Get
outside on a calm and sunny day
with family and friends to make
memories and bring home meat
for some delicious squirrel stew.

Geocaching
All year | Statewide
Geocaching opportunities don't stop in winter, though there are a few extra things
to consider. Make sure to dress for the weather, tell someone where you're going,
and bring a small shovel for snow and a screwdriver to pry open frozen containers.
