Nebraska record whitetail, 1961
This is a picture of my brother, Jeff Nelson, on the left and Todd Wackel
on the right. My dad, Larry Nelson, took this picture in 1961 of the
Nebraska record whitetail that Todd's dad, Robert Wackel, shot in
Washington County. At the time, it broke the state record by 18 inches. It
scored 192
6
⁄8 and still stands as the fifth largest in the state.
