N Play disc golf at Chadron State Park Throughout the month | Chadron Chadron State Park's disc golf course is one of the best in the state, said park superintendent Gregg Galbraith. Well-designed and full of scenic beauty, this 18-hole course provides the perfect setting for fall fun. The bottom nine holes are great for families, while the top nine present more of a challenge. Loaner discs are available, or you can purchase some in the gift shop. JUSTIN HAAG, NEBRASKALAND Visit the Wildcat Hills Nature Center Throughout the month | Gering Visit this fascinating site to discover the secrets of the Wildcat Hills through interactive displays and interpretive programming. Visitors can also soak in the area's ancient past through interpretive paleontology and archeology displays.
