Fishing, early 1950s
This photo was taken when
Swanson Lake was new.
From left: Art Wood, Wayne
Allen (my father) and
Ernest Dutton.
They made many trips to
the lake in its early days.
Eric (my brother) and I got
to go along as little boys.

Opening day, 1954
While looking through my mother's photos, I found the attached slide which was labeled "Opening Day 1954." It reminds me
of a Norman Rockwell painting. From left is my uncle Phil Lang, my grandfather PJ Lang, and the others, we don't know who
they were. We researched the weather for that day in 1954, and it was warm, which explains the lack of warm clothes.
