Walleye fi shing at
Sutherland Reservoir
May and June | Sutherland Reservoir State
Recreation Area
Sutherland Reservoir provides consistently good
walleye fi shing, and this year, it's even better — listed as
a top walleye destination in the 2024 Fishing Forecast.
This reservoir will be particularly favorable for 15- to
20-inch walleyes that make great eating. Through June
30, participate in the Midwest Walleye Challenge to
help provide data to fi sheries biologists who will use the
information to learn more about the status of walleye
fi sheries. Search "Midwest Walleye Challenge" at
outdoornebraska.gov to learn more.
