July 2024 • Nebraskaland 61 Pronghorn hunting near Berwyn, 1968 This is a picture of my grandfather, James O. Ward, and my great uncle, Glendale Ward, after a successful antelope hunt near Berwyn in Custer County. – Jason Ward, Fremont Waterfowl hunting near Tekamah, 1987 East of Tekamah, right on the Missouri River, Don Blodget's farm. Birds were falling straight down into the blind. From left: Joe Ficenec, Jr.; Sean Rensch; Paul Jessen and son, Chad; Pat Rensch; Drew and Andy Sibbernsen. Sean's dad, Dick Rensch, is the shadow taking the picture — lucky we had a camera. Pete Jessen could not make it that day. Notice the Grand Wagoneer in the background. The boys were all about 8 to 9 years old. – Andy Sibbernsen, Omaha
