When my dad introduced me to pheasant hunting in the '90s, he told me of a spot where he and his buddies almost always limited out! His honey hole was near Clatonia but my first experience with pheasant hunting in this exact spot was walking all morning with a .410 to only see a rabbit and a hen pheasant. But in the late '70s and early '80s, this was my dad and his buddies' honey hole. They would have a limit by noon and head to a local café for lunch and still have the afternoon to watch football. I just wish I could have seen the "heyday" of Nebraska pheasant hunting. – Zach Jilek, Omaha
