N Youth pheasant hunting season Oct. 18-19 | Statewide This year's youth pheasant, quail and partridge season will be Oct. 18-19 and is open to hunters ages 15 and younger. Youth hunters do not need a permit to hunt during this time, but non-residents will need a hunting permit and habitat stamp. Adult mentors accompanying youth hunters (only one adult per youth) are allowed to hunt, but only at designated Special Youth Hunt locations. Game and Parks will release pheasants at specifi c wildlife management areas and the N-CORPE east tract this season. For more information, contact Game and Parks at 402-471-0641.
