For many Nebraskans, April is the "wait-'til-next-
month" month. Outdoor excursions are delayed a few
weeks because of April's unpredictable weather. Yet the
photographers of NEBRASKAland Magazine are not
afforded this opportunity. We treat this transitional
month just like we do any other by capturing every
image we can in hopes of convincing you that today is
the best day to start your spring adventures.
And there's no better place to start than Nebraska's
state parks and recreation areas. From the Panhandle
to the southeast, variety awaits those willing to visit
just a little earlier than normal this time of year.
