Night Owl 5K Run/Walk

Join Niobrara State Park's third annual Night Owl 5K Run/
Walk on Sept. 12. Race for first place or jog/walk at your own
pace. Bring your own glow sticks, necklaces and bracelets
to light up your run. Headlamps or flashlights are strongly
recommended. This nighttime race is open to all ages and pre-
registered participants will receive a T-shirt and a wristband.
Following the race, an award ceremony will be held at the
Group Lodge. If you have a wristband, enjoy a buffalo burger
meal with coleslaw, beans and ice cream. Registration begins
at 7 p.m. and the race will begin at 8 p.m. To register, contact
Niobrara State Park at 402-857-3373; pre-register for $20
or $25 on the day of the event. Spectators are invited to the
buffalo burger dinner for $12 per person. ■
