This picture was taken at Victoria
Springs, north of Broken Bow in June
1969 of our two oldest children, Scott
6, and Anna, 4. We were camped
there for a few days and the fishing
was great, as they both caught several
trout.

These two boys are my sons: Don, age 10, and Jim, age 9. This is
when they were at our farm with their new shotguns. These were the
first 20 gauge guns for them. They loved to hunt and fish with me. Both
like to hunt since growing up. This picture was taken in 1965. Today,
I am 85 years old and don't get to hunt as much with them and their
children as I would like to.

Pictured is my cousin Marion Tiller and myself in 1946
at our farm in Frontier County. Marion was home on leave
from the Air Force during World War II. He and his dad
were from Oklahoma and came up to hunt with me for
several years. You can see the many pheasants that we
shot one day.
My granddad came to the area in the late 1800s in a
covered wagon and settled here. My granddad, my dad
and then I farmed it for several years. My son Jim and
family live on it today.
