Kite Day July 23 Niobrara State Park Feel the breezes stir, and watch as a bouquet of colors lift into the sky. Bring your favorite kite, or borrow one from the park, and enjoy Kite Day with your friends and family. Campfire Christmas in July July 30 Indian Cave State Park Don't let the heat fool you: July is a perfect time to get into the Christmas spirit, as this ever-popular event proves. Kids will love the jingle bell horse- drawn sleigh rides, visits with Santa, and ornament crafts. The whole family can enjoy a variety of outdoor games, including a scavenger hunt and yule log quest.
