Winter Lodging at
Chadron State Park
For the first time ever, Chadron State Park will have several lodging
options open all winter long. This gorgeous park in the western part
of the state offers a great spot for a remote winter getaway, and
guests are invited to bring ice fishing equipment, cross country skis

Open Hunting Seasons
Various dates
Make sure to get out and hunt before several seasons
close at the end of January, including fall turkey,
pheasant and grouse. Light goose and dark goose
hunting is also available, as well as duck hunting in
different parts of the state. Get in your season's c hoice
deer hunting before Jan. 15.
