Events Held Statewide
Nebraska reaches a major milestone on March 1
– it turns 150. Celebrate by visiting the "Bridges:
Sharing our Past to Enrich the Future" photography
exhibit at the Great Plains Art Museum in Lincoln
now through March 25. The exhibit links history,
generations and cultures through stunning images
of each of Nebraska's 93 counties. The photographs
were selected by a juried panel and will continue to
be displayed at various locations across the state
through Jan. 7, 2018, in a traveling
exhibit.
Other sesquicentennial events in March
include live theater, art exhibits, lectures,
youth programs, and even an indoor
equestrian world championship. Details
are at ne150.org.
