opportunities for young and old, archery for college students and hiking
into the night with naturalists.

Wildcat Hills Homeschool Programs
Dec. 18, 10 a.m. | Wildcat Hills Nature Center, Gering
The Wildcat Hills Homeschool Programs will meet once a month at 10
a.m. Mountain Time at the Wildcat Hills Nature Center. Certified staff
lead various programs on ecosystems, animals, adaptations and habitats
found only in western Nebraska. Activities focus on hands-on learning and
observations. The programs are free, but a state park vehicle entry permit
is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Contact the Nature

College Night on the Range
Dec. 2 and 9, 7-9 p.m. | Turpin Outdoor
Education Center, Lincoln
College Night on the Range provides opportunities for
college students to connect, unwind and explore shooting
sports in a safe and friendly atmosphere. No experience
with a bow? No problem. Instruction and equipment are
available. Registration is not required, but students must
show their ID. Check-in closes at 8 p.m., and the $5 fee
