While July is a slow month for hunting,
you can prepare for a great hunt now
by cleaning, repairing, restoring and
organizing your hunting gear. You can also
replace batteries, waterproof tent blinds,
clean fi rearms, sharpen knives and check
your fi rst aid kit.

Go horseback riding at Fort
Robinson State Park
Throughout the month
Fort Robinson State Park off ers 22,000 acres of some of the best
horseback riding you will fi nd, with breathtaking scenery and
marked trails. Trails on top of the buttes wind through pine trees and
open up to some amazing views. Both easy and challenging trails are
available; choose what you and your horse are ready for.
