These beautiful, berry-loving birds are
migrating through Nebraska on their way

You can fi nd them on berry-laden trees and

Enjoy fall color in the central
Niobrara River Valley
Early October
When you think "fall color," the central Niobrara River Valley may
not spring to mind. But the scenery in this rugged canyon is second to
none. An array of colors can be seen: red sumac, vibrant yellow ash and
cottonwoods, and purplish hues in Sandhills grasses. To enjoy views from
the water, plan a fl oating trip with a Valentine outfi tter.
