Most swimming beaches are located next to the day-use picnic locations,
providing plenty to do throughout the day: friendly football and volleyball
matches, fi shing, barbecue, sunbathing and more. Find a park to visit at

Area
Celebrate the state park centennial at Nebraska's
fi rst state recreation area! Enjoy an 1800s vintage
baseball game and old-fashioned kids' games, as
well as a walking historical tour of the park. Other
activities include fi shing, Dutch-oven cooking
demos, and live music and fi reworks in the evening.
