Pheasant hunting in the 1930s
My grandpa, Fred Mihulka, and his son, Ray, are pictured here with the Brunken family relatives along with a few salesmen for
an Omaha auto parts company. Grandpa Fred could fire a shotgun from the hip. He duck hunted on the Platte and Loup rivers
with wooden decoys. The tradition followed through the generations and my son and I duck and goose hunt regularly.
