Fishing at Dewey Lake, 1989
This photo of me was taken in 1989 on Dewey Lake by my fishing partner, Doug King. He, Dennis Galyardt and I each
caught northern pike of this size using fly rods and fishing out of float tubes. The fish in the picture was caught on a deer hair
mouse that was retrieved through the reeds. A trip to the Valentine Refuge lakes was an annual event in those days and many
good memories were made.
