Photos should show people enjoying Nebraska outdoor activities, such as camping, boating, hunting or fishing, and must have been taken before 1980. We will give priority to unusual photos or activities. When possible, please include a story about the photograph and identify the people, places and approximate date it was taken. Photos will be returned. This picture of my dad, Gary Stinson Sr., was taken in 1939 at Lisco, Nebraska. Dad was a store owner in Norfolk and he hunted with Ben Parr, a liquor salesman from Omaha, Frank Parr, a mortgage banker from Los Angeles, California, and Dr. Sievers, a dentist from Los Angeles. Their last hunt together was in Nov. 1944. – Jim Stinson, Norfolk, Nebraska ▲ This is a picture is of my great- grandfather, Clarence Archie Strong, who was born in 1880 and died in 1969. This picture was taken around 1935. On the left is his nephew, Thomas Strong Jr., born in 1915. This picture would have been taken in Holt County. – Dan Strong, Columbus, Nebraska ▲ This is a picture of my daughter, Kimberly, and myself with a 19½ pound pike I caught in a backwater slough south of Emmet on the Elkhorn River in 1962 or 63'. – Lyle Clemens, Kenesaw, Nebraska ▲
