ountless fascinating landforms of the North Platte
River Valley have been shaped by erosion. Known
as the Wildcat Hills, they provide eye candy for
travelers along this valley just as they did westward
pioneers of the 1800s and others who lived here before
that. Of course, it may not be the most fertile ground on
earth, but one would be hard-pressed to find a better
backdrop for country living – especially with the cows
grazing in the stalks on a moonlit night.
