Written and performed by Becky Boesen, this live performance was inspired by the Schoolchildren's Blizzard of 1888, and gives a voice to both the victims of the storm and to the children of today who are searching for a place to truly call "home." Find more information and other sesquicentennial events at ne150.org/ calendar. Celebrate the Season Throughout the month Statewide Make the holidays unique this year – celebrate at a state park! Enjoy ice skating, holiday crafts, a Christmas meal, hayrack rides, a yule log scavenger hunt and more. See details at OutdoorNebraska.org/winterfest.
