Fort Atkinson State Historical Park
This two-day celebration of 19th-century Nebraska
history includes hands-on learning demonstrations,
children's games, traditional foods and music. Enjoy
exploring the fort as living history interpreters demonstrate military and
civilian life. Other activities include a farmers market, tractor show, pie
eating and mustache/beard competitions, old-fashioned apple pressing

pieces of candy. Various state parks are offering events
fi lled with fun family activities: campground decorating
contests, haunted hayrack rides, pumpkin carving contests,
