Photos will be returned. Our three pits, with four men each, usually limited out by 10:30 a.m. in the 1970s. Then we would go to this garage and, with everyone helping, the geese were cleaned in a couple hours. We did this for several days over several years with the same crew. – Roger Boerkircher, Cozad, Nebraska ▲ Pictured is my dad, Homer Clemens, of Neligh, Nebraska, returning from checking his trapline. Dad carried a 1911 Remington auto 12 gauge and was a crack shot. He always brought home ducks and pheasants he shot while trapping. Note the year of his license plate [1951]. He bought his first new vehicle ever in 1950. – Lyle Clemens, Kenesaw, Nebraska ▲
