Gallagher Canyon State Recreation Area is the right spot for you. "It's a truly unique area, and one of my favorites to photograph," said Geiser. "There are numerous birds, deer and other animals around to take photos of, as well as beautiful sunrises and sunsets." Niobrara State Park Northeastern Nebraska It's all about the big views at Niobrara State Park. The park is situated on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Missouri and Niobrara rivers. Photographers have found much to love about the interplay of light between the water and the sky. Wildlife viewing is excellent here, too – you can spot beaver, muskrat, mink, bald eagles, white-tailed deer and wild turkeys roaming through the park.
