Come to wet a line on a fall morning
and your only competition might be a
great blue heron fishing the shallows. But
chances are you'll see plenty of anglers.
Olive Creek has one of the best largemouth
bass populations of all the Salt Valley
lakes in terms of size and numbers. It also
produces channel catfish and bluegills and
has a growing crappie population, all of
which are benefitting from the improved
water quality provided by a 2001 Aquatic
Habitat Program project.
