With more than 1,100 images submitted,
the 2016 NEBRASKAland Magazine
Photo Contest featured tremendous work
in the categories of Wildlife, Flora, Scenic,
Recreation and Youth, displaying the
beauty of the entire state.
Judged by NEBRASKAland Magazine's
staff, paring down the images was diffi cult
– especially the Best in Show winner,
which went to Rudy Gonzales and his
image "Lightning Storm at Orleans,
Nebraska."
But there is one more winner yet to be
revealed – the winner of the Reader's
Choice Award. This winning photograph
will be published in our January-February
2017 edition.
We thank everyone who has made this
year's contest such a success, and we look
forward to seeing even more outstanding
photographs entered next year.
