6 NEBRASKAland • MAY 2017 Scott Miller of Lincoln found this mule deer skull and antlers on family land near Trenton in Hitchcock County. Tiara Brown of Omaha sent in this photo of a cyclist at Zorinsky Lake. She said the abnormally warm weather in February melted any remaining ice on the lake and prompted hundreds of people to flock to the trails for sunshine and exercise. Sabine Kantenseter of North Platte took this photo of an adult bald eagle at Johnson Lake in February.
