been taken before 1980. We will give priority to unusual photos or activities. When possible, please include a story about the photograph and identify the
people, places and approximate date it was taken. Text may be edited and photos adjusted for reproduction. All photos will be returned.
My brothers and I owe our love of
the outdoors to our father, Anton "Tony"
Partusch (left picture), who always took us
hunting and fishing with him. He is shown
here after one of our fishing trips in 1967.
The other image (right picture), was taken
after my brother (Larry-pictured right) and I
(left) returned from an overnight fishing trip
to East Twin Lake, near Pleasant Dale, in
1972.
We also enjoyed many trips together
camping and fishing on sandbars on the
Platte River near Louisville, Nebraska. Larry
has since moved to Anchorage, Alaska, but
we still get together as often as possible
for fishing trips. We will always treasure
the memories of all of our fishing trips in
Nebraska.
Thank you!
– Tom Partusch, Omaha
