6 NEBRASKAland • AUGUST-SEPTEMBER 2017 JaNahn Niven of Weston shared a photo of her sons playing on their family farm near North Bend. "I enjoy taking pictures, and these two are my favorite subjects." Karen Kader of Omaha took this photo of water droplets on a lupine plant during a rainy day. This image was taken by Kristin Chandler at Walnut Creek Lake in Papillion. "I think the tree coming out of the water, and how it's barely intact, made for an interesting photo op," she said. J From Our Social Media FORT ROBINSON STATE PARK: Yvonne Cornish – Love this place it's beautiful there. Joseph Cannia – We will visit this year and probably do that famous trail ride up the buttes. SUMMER PARK EVENTS: Cameron Brumbaugh – I regularly enjoy Nebraska state parks, but why are there none with ATV trails? Hey Cameron, We are looking at ATV trails; however, it requires a certain size landscape. It is in our long range plans. – Thomas Slagle, NGPC Communications Intern
