Greg Wagner writes: "An effective method to catch a bunch of bullfrogs is to move slowly, shining the shorelines with a good fl ashlight after dark. Spot the frogs on land, keep the light directly on them so they'll freeze in position, and then ease in close enough to catch them with a net or even by hand." Take note that bullfrogs are aquatic creatures, and thus you need a current, valid Nebraska fi shing permit in order to take or attempt to take them. Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Encounter at the Nebraska State Fair Aug. 25-Sept. 4 Grand Island Enjoy exploring this popular exhibit, which features a 12-foot waterfall, a 5,600-gallon fi sh aquarium, fi shing and Nerf gun games, shooting and archery ranges, trapper cabin, sky fort, running stream and catch pond, fossil dig and scavenger hunt game.
