Fremont and Dodge County have surprises waiting for any traveler looking for an authentic small town Nebraska experience. Those looking for adventure can find it in Bryson's Airboat Tours. The Platte River might be a docile stream of water passing through Nebraska, but once you take a ride on one of Bryson's airboats, the river transforms into a scenic speedway. Looking for more ways to explore in the area? Stay the weekend at one of Dodge County's many campgrounds including Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area and boat, fish, hike and camp at one of Nebraska's most diverse outdoor destinations. You can also visit Camp Fontanelle and zip line across a ravine through 150 acres of woods. When you are looking to unwind after a long day of activities, snuggle up in one of the camp's unique 'treeboats' perfect for sleeping under the stars.
