E
very year, legislation is introduced at
the state and federal level that affects
how we use and enjoy our public lands
and waters. Safari Club International
as well as the Nebraska Chapter are
constantly striving to improve our
opportunities in the great outdoors.
Not only are we monitoring legislation
on the national level, but we are also
watching closely and informing our
members of any actions at the state level
that may affect us all.
Most of us are not aware of the projects
our own Game and Parks Commission
undertake on a day-to-day basis. The
actions we take on the local level are
important to support how effective our managers can be as
custodians of our game and lands.
Nebraska Chapter SCI informs our members through
e-mail alerts and social media posts on issues that we feel
are important. We also provide tips on effective ways to
communicate with legislatures and commissioners.
Not only are we first for hunters, but we are first for all
outdoors men and women.

for e-mail alerts you can go to nebraskasafariclubint.com or
