he Nebraska Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI)
is sponsoring a free event for all youth called "Take a
Kid Outside Day." SCI is partnering with the Prairie Bowman
Association and others to sponsor this youth event.
It will be held June 9, 2018, from noon to 5:00 p.m.
at Pheasant Bonanza in Tekamah, Nebraska. Parents are
encouraged to join their kids for a great afternoon of fun.
Educational, hands-on outdoor classes include archery,
fishing and casting, shotgun shooting, habitat talks and
much more.
The Nebraska Chapter of Safari Club International is
dedicated to conservation and hunters' rights. First for
hunters, Safari Club International focuses on litigation for
not only hunters' rights but also for scientific and sustainable
conservation throughout the globe.
We also believe in the importance of maintaining a
connection between youth and the great outdoors, whether it's
hunting, fishing, shooting sports or animal science. Our goal is
to provide opportunities for kids to increase their confidence
and knowledge through outdoor sports and learning. ■
