Wetland Habitats in Nebraska
The different wetland complexes in Nebraska provide a
variety of experiences for waterfowl hunters during both
early and late season hunting. In general, wetland complexes
in the Sandhills, Rainwater Basin, Southwest and Central
Table playas and elsewhere are relatively shallow and
typically freeze up in November.
